Optipreg® Pregnancy Plus contains folic acid and vitamin D, as recommended by the UK Department for Health. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. Folic acid is also beneficial beyond 12 weeks as it contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Take 1 tablet daily with a glass of water.

These are good pregnancy supplements which are very easy to take. One pill a day and there is a 3 month supply (90 pills) provided in the tub. They contain great ingredients such as zinc, vitamin B12, copper, selenium and iron. The price is great too seeing as you get a three month supply, these are great value and really reasonably priced.

This optipreg pregnancy plus pill provides 3 months supply with only £10 . It contains basic folic acid and vitamin D. On top of that it also provides biotin, selenium and zinc for hair and skin health. Iron, magnesium and vitamin B for tiredness. It is very comprehensive vitamin and mineral combination.
