How to use SkinRepairX Colloidal Oat Cream
- Apply directly to the skin
- Do not rub into the skin; repeatedly follow the direction of the hair growth with gentle strokes.
- We recommend leaving a thin layer of cream on dry skin to be naturally absorbed.
- Can be applied from twice a day upwards, depending on the skin’s dryness.
- Use regularly for the best results.
- Use as a soap substitute while showering, reapplying to towel dry skin to retain moisture.*

Directions
Unscrew lid and remove the tamper evident seal. Screw the lid back on. Do not use if the tamper evident seal is damaged or missing.

like most over the counter remedies for dry skin or eczema. this only works with regular usage.
yes it hydrates, and does help to clear dry and peeling skin. but for actual skin conditions you are still going to need topical creams to help to clear.
this is reasonably priced for what it does and how well it works.

I have noticed a lot more creams being recommended with oats. So I was glad to try this as I have Eczema, Psoriasis and generally dry skin.
When applying, my skin is like a vacuum and it absorbs right away.
I have seen some improvements already.
The price at the time of this review is £5.99 for 100ml.
This can work out very expensive if used all over and regularly.

I’ve used this moisturiser on my body and hands, and it’s helped my skin moisturise and recover. I have eczema, but beyond that, I’ve had weird rashes lately, which have only been helped by prescribed ointment. This has helped soothe the skin out so it’s less irritable and itchy, which is great. It also helps the skin soften and keeps it from being dry, which is good. I have very dry skin, so the effects of moisturisers is very noticeable, especially when comparing good and bad ones, and this is on the good side.
There’s a bit of a scent to it, presumably from the oats, which is OK, as it’s not too strong. I prefer unscented products, but this isn’t bad, so I don’t mind at all.
The consistency is very similar to similar moisturisers I’ve used, like Aveeno, so absorbency speed is quite quick, which is good, because I don’t like that greasy/sticky feeling at all.
The biggest downside for me is the price. £5.99 for 100ml is very expensive, considering there are other products of similar quality that are cheaper. I’ve used Neutrogena hand cream for moisturising, and that’s worked well. I’ve used Aveeno for body and hand moisturisers and they’ve worked well as well. These are considerably cheaper, so while this was quite effective, it’s hard to recommend at the current price, as it just seems too expensive.

Quite a thin light cream. Goes in well and skin feels very soft after. I am a crafter, so my hands are always dry, paper cuts, i have a cat, so always covered in scratches, I also have a dry eczema patch under my little finger that cracks and bleeds. This cream went on top of all that, no irritation what so ever and eased the itchy dry sting I’m all too familiar with.
It does smell funky tho…the only way I can really describe it is like someone had oats for breakfast and then breathes their oaty breath on you. Its not offensive. But it’s not luxurious either. A practical cream rather than fancy.
Is very nice to use and does soothe my Cracked disgusting hands well.

Wow, I have to say that Skin RepairX Colloidal Oat Cream is a game changer for me!
I’ve dealt with my fair share of skin issues, including eczema and psoriasis. I’ve tried countless products over the years, but nothing has worked as well as this cream. I got this cream for my son who has eczema. We have our favourite lotion that is also formulated with oats, so when I saw this offered on Vine, I knew I had to try this on my son.
It has a lightweight texture, non greasy and absorbs into the skin and goes smooth. Love that it’s fragrance-free, and suitable for vegans. I have been applying this cream every day after bath and directly to the patches at regular intervals throughout the day. It seems to be working as effectively as the other one so I’m very pleased.
On the downside, as it needs reapplying regularly, this small 100ml is almost finished just after around a week of use. I’d say the 500ml bottle offers a much better value for money as the price is £10 compared to £6 for the small 100ml size.
That said, our favourite lotion is much cheaper for the same 500ml size, which is £6.50. Therefore, I won’t be purchasing this cream unless it’s on sale or if the price drops.
Overall, it’s a good hydrating cream and works well for my son who has eczema, so I can recommend this.

Will start the review by saying that I have also been drinking more water and eating better this week but they wouldn’t have cleared it up on their own.
I’ve been using this cream on my face for about a week now and it’s really helped soothe the angry psoriasis patches I had there. I needed a cream that soaked in quickly but stayed moist as I was sick of ruining hats and having greasy hair from other creams, or constantly reapplying. This soaks in really quickly and my skin feels soft a good few hours after applying, you don’t really need much at all and although I can’t tell because the tub isn’t see through, I barely feel like I’ve used much at all with each application.
It helps with the irritation and burn feeling that comes with a flare up and helped calm my skin down. The closest thing to a negative I could say is the smell is completely matched to the ingredients, in that it smells like oats. There is no additional perfume or ‘pretty’ smell and it does remind me of porridge (or oddly, bread) when I smell it going on. It’s not unpleasant, just odd.

A plastic squeezable tube of 100ml of colloidal oat cream which is non-perfumed. The silver security foil is easy to peel off. The thin cream is suitable for my dry sensitive skin as it sinks in well and is non-irritating. My skin is left feeling soft and supple and comfortable. Even though this cream contains apricot kernel oil it only leaves a slight sheen on my dry skin. I believe it has improved the look of my skin.

I have a small patch of eczema on my legs , always aggravated by the seams on my jeans I think .
I used to treat it with a steroid cream which worked well for many years but after a while seemed to make it worse , not sure why.
I had read how an oatmeal cream can help and out of all the various creams I had tried this was the only one that made the eczema retreat .
The oatmeal cream I first got was twice the size and twice the price of this Repairx one but the ingredients and creamy texture and application seems very similar. So if you are suffering from any itchy skin disorders this smaller sized one could be worth a try to see if it works for you .

This skin repairX cream comes in a 100ml tube with a tamper evident seal.
It’s light, completely non greasy and absorbs really well. It’s fragrance free but I could detect a faint oaty smell, but as oats are in the list of ingredients that wasn’t a surprise.
I get itchy skin in places and have tried just about every cream on the market, this is soothing and does stop the itching for a while.
It can be used as often as you wish and is even suitable from birth so you can be sure there are no harmful ingredients.

My hands swell in the winter, not only that but they peel and hurt too. This is the only cream they react positively too.
Especially at night where the pain becomes unbearable. My hand love it. It took about 2-3 days for me to see the difference.
It like that it isn’t heavily fragranced. The consistency is easier to distribute than a thick body butter or paw paw but thicker and more moisturising than a generic day lotion.

This oat based moisturiser is really nice. It isn’t greasy and absorbs quickly. It is a very lightweight consistency but feels nourishing. I get quite itchy skin from dryness and this calms my skin. It doesn’t pill or transfer onto clothes which makes it great as an everyday moisturiser. It comes foil sealed and has barely any scent (a faint oat smell.) Very pleased with this product!

The 100ml tube is a bit dear considering a tube with five times the amount in it is only £4 dearer but if you only want to try it out I’d understand only buying the smaller tube.
The cream reminds me of Aveeno a bit, which is brilliant as I love that, and I think it’s every bit as nice as that is. It has a gentle aroma to it and the texture is very nice. I have very sensitive skin and it isn’t affecting it at all. I’d definitely consider buying the larger tube of this when I’ve exhausted the supply of creams I’ve got. It really is lovely.

This is a really nice moisturiser, good for sensitive skin. It’s fragrance free and is a really nice light weight but moisturising texture.
It comes in a nice squeeze bottle, which comes with a tamper seal. The bottle is really easy to squeeze and the moisturiser itself is really soft and hydrating.
It is really light which means that it rubs in really easily while still being very moisturising.
At £5.99 it’s better value if you purchase the 500ml bottle at £9.99 which equates to 5 times the product for just double the price.

I got this for my grandson as he’s got dry and sore patches on his cheeks so I needed something gentle and soothing.
His skin as become a lot better after using this for a few days, less red and sore. He doesn’t mind me applying it, so it’s obviously very mild and doesn’t cause any irritation as he’d soon let me know!
I’d recommend getting the larger bottle as it offers much better value.

I’m a type 2 diabetic currently struggling with ‘furry’ dry skin and chapped hands that spend too much time in hot water and using cleaning products. Aveeno is my go-to cream, but I buy it in large sizes to ultimately save money. This is as good, cheaper and in handbag size. I could even refill this, slowly and carefully, by squeezing the tube sideways and sucking in cream.
It’s a little greasy as you rub it in but once it’s sunk in, you can tell there’s something protective on your hands – you feel the barrier – and the itching stops. To me, it feels like talc on the fingers. You do have to be careful with clothes, as it will stain if you spill it, and even your moisturised hands could stain fabrics if the cream hasn’t had a chance to dry. But, it’s a godsend. Once you’ve washed your hands, you can feel they’re not as dry, as if there’s a barrier.
It’s unscented and it’s vegan, and cruelty free. The packaging is ♻️. Theres a warning that it’s flammable on bedding, clothing and that you shouldn’t smoke wearing this. Huh. But, still recommended.

This skin repairx cream comes in a 100ml tube and it is boxed. It has a security foil over the cap. It is a nice thick cream, that is easy to rub in and easily absorbable. My daughter has eczema which gets worse in the winter time and this has been great for it. We usually use aveeno (similarly has the colloidal oat ingredient) but I actually much prefer this. It is quite expensive for the size of tube, but well worth paying when it’s a product that actually works and doesn’t irritate even more.

This is a pleasant, very lightweight cream. It doesn’t have any discernible scent. It’s thinner than handcream, but you could still use it as handcream. You can use it as face cream. It says it’s suitable for all over body application. It’s made in Belgium and distributed by a company in Northumbria. There is a website.
It’s not silicon-free because it contains dimethicone, but the rest of the ingredients are fairly ‘natural’, as opposed to cheap pharmaceutical chemicals, such as petroleum jelly. It comes hygiene sealed. At under six quid, I like the price. It’s a simple, effective cream and a reasonable price. I would consider re-ordering.
