SkinRepairX Emollient Gel
£4.99 – £13.98
A light daily moisturiser that is easily absorbed, soothes and relieves dry skin. Protects & conditions. Moisturising formulation.
Our skin acts as a natural, protective barrier, which when weakened allows essential water to be lost and irritants to get in. This often makes the skin sore, itchy and dry.
SkinRepairX Emollient Gel allows the skin barrier to repair itself by creating a protective layer that prevents water from being lost. In doing so, the skin remains hydrated and is able to repair itself naturally.
When to use SkinRepairX Emollient Gel:
Both SkinRepairX Emollient Cream and SkinRepairX Emollient Gel can be used on exactly the same conditions, the only difference being skin feel.
- Can be used all year round, recommended specifically during cold months.
- Prevents dry and sore hands caused by excessive washing or working with harsh chemicals or occupational irritants.
- Prevents nappy rash or incontinence related symptoms.
- Eczema.
- Dermatitis.

Really helped with my daughter’s eczema patches. It’s very thin but is obviously hydrating. Easy to apply and absorbs well.

I’ve been using it on my son who has bad eczema triggered by the cold weather and this emollient gel has helped a lot on recovering his very sore dry hands and wrists and he has tried a lot of different creams and ointment but this one seems to work the best.

I find any oil based cream or lotions can cause heat rash very easily but particularly in the summer, I also can suffer from dry skin on my body so this is brilliant to help avoid the uncomfortable itch.
Surprisingly it’s creamy and quite thick, it’s fragrance free and has a nice cooling feel on the skin.
Comes boxed in nice bright packaging with lots if information about the product and the plastic squeeze tube inside matches the branding. The tube has a flip top plastic lid that will need to be unscrewed to remove the silver protective film.

It does leave an ever so light greasy feel after massaging it on but that gets completely absorbed after a few minutes and to be fair it’s expected when using gel emollients. I found it best to use at night as I leave it to sit and work its magic. Leaves my dry winter skin very supple and hydrated and the dryness is kept at bay for longer so I feel it’s good value. A little goes a long way and it’s great for sensitive skin so I’d be happy to recommend.

This skin repair gel arrived nicely packed in a box. I really love the bright yellow and pink colours of the bottle and packaging. It looks so attractive and cute.
This gel is very good for dry skin. I have chapped hand knuckles in the winter and they hurt and bleed. My hand are so much softer now since I have been using this gel. It’s smooth to apply and absorbs very well. It doesn’t leave any sticky or oily layer behind.
The good thing is that its suitable for all skin types such as acne, eczema etc and can also be used as a nappy rash cream.
Overall great hydrating gel and highly recommend it.

This is a good gel, that leaves my hands very hydrated and is perfect for people with sensitive skin, it is not easy to absorb and leaves my skin a bit greasy but looking healthy and hydrates so it’s worth it.
The size is 100 ml and the container is perfect to take t with you or travel, I recommend it.

This is a very good emollient as it has worked well in moisturising my body and hands. I have eczema, but recently I’ve had these weird rashes, which have only been helped by prescribed ointment. This isn’t able to help the rashes, but it has helped the skin recover by keeping it hydrated and soothed, so it’s less irritable and itchy.
My skin is quite dry naturally, so the effects of moisturisers is very noticeable, since my skin will crack when it’s too dry, and a good moisturiser will help that, and not only that, but also help my skin stay moisturised for longer.
Unscented cream, which is great, as I don’t really like scents. Scents are down to preference, but can’t really go wrong when it’s not scented, so this is definitely a praise from me.
The consistency is quite good and gets absorbed relatively quickly and easily, which is great, since I don’t like that greasy/sticky feeling, especially when using and handling things, like my keyboard and mouse, which makes them greasy/sticky as well.
£5.99 for 100ml is very expensive in my opinion, and probably the biggest discouraging factor for me, since similar products can be found cheaper, so while this was quite effective, it’s hard to recommend at the current price, as it just seems too expensive.

I think this gel would be good for people with sensitive skin especially. It’s very much like aqueous cream in consistency and the feeling it leaves on your skin, you can tell it’s water based.
It does leave your skin feeling moisturised but personally it’s not rich enough for my hands, though I am trying it on some dry eczema type patches on our toddler to see if it helps there.

I got this as I have got a small patch of eczema on my elbows so I am hoping it will help with that. It doesn’t really have a smell that I can pick up. It is a very thin lotion rather than a gel and a little goes a long way. It does leave my hands quite greasy afterwards. It is too early to say that it definitely works or not but my elbows are looking a bit better so it is going in the right direction.

The skin repair emollient works quite well. Since I have eczema on my hands, the gel has proven beneficial for me. It glides smoothly on my skin plus is absorbed quickly. Additionally, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy/ heavy. However, it’s not a gel as advertised but a cream.

This brand has two different creams, this “gel” plus another labelled as “cream”. “Gel” seems a misnomer, it’s a thinner cream with different ingredients. I find that both do a very good job of softening and soothing the dry itchy patches of skin on my hands. I prefer the cream to this “gel” though – although this “gel” is easier to spread around (and so may be better if applying to larger areas) it leaves my palms quite greasy and I need to give them a good wipe with a cloth afterwards – no such problem with the “cream” variant.

Great product, I work in a lab and have to wear nitrile gloves all day which makes your hands sweat and leaves them in pretty bad shape, I have this in my locker and put it on once or twice a day and it’s really made a difference.
A little goes a long way and I find it absorbs into the skin quite quickly compared to the work supplied barrier cream which is pretty poor.
Got the gel version but it does seem more like cream but it works and that’s all that matters to me.

I have oily combo dehydrated skin but prone to breakouts so exfoliating acids are part of my routine by default to help me with this. However, recently I over did it and my skin has become dryer and more sensitive. This is often a sign of a compromised skin barrier.
Knowing this, I thought this gel cream would be a great fit and I wasn’t wrong. I’ve been using this to help lock moisture into my skin after I’ve used my moisturiser. The extra layer helps with hydration and over time will allow me skin to heal. I’ve simplified my routine so the breakouts are running amok but so far in finding my face doesn’t burn when I use cream on it now so it’s definitely helping! I think it’s the liquid paraffin that’s helping lock the moisture in the most but I still need to research the other ingredients…
If you get this to help heal your skin, check you can tolerate it but also give it enough time. It took me a week before I noticed improvement but it’ll take longer for a “full recovery” of my skin barrier.

Really works well, instant relief for dry areas.
Very fine gel, more of a cream, that sinks into the skin very quickly. Non greasy after application.
Can be used on your face too.
Make my skin rehydrated instantly

Love this cream. Little bit of it goes a long way and if moisturises nicely. It doesn’t have a strong odour but that doesn’t matter to me. It’s how it leaves my hands that’s important.
It’s not the cheapest cream out there but I think it’s worth paying a little more for the right product.

I really like this Skin RepairX Emollient Gel; it’s just what my skin needs to keep it hydrated over winter.
The gel looks like a white cream but it is very lightweight, absorbs quickly and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it on my hands and legs, which tend to look and feel dry in colder temperatures, and I’ve certainly seen and felt an improvement in my skin.
It’s a good quality product at an affordable price and I’m happy to recommend it.

A great moisturizing cream that is in a tube, you can squeeze even amount of it, so your skin and face does not feel too greasy. On application it is a light creamy residue but then turns into a gel. I would recommend this cream if you have issues with dryness on your body and want something that is moisturizing and fresh, without an overbearing scent .

I have incredibly dry skin in the winter; in fact, it’s lizard-like. This smoothing skin repair gel is absolutely amazing. It’s scent-free and makes my skin less itchy and it feels healing once it’s applied. I prefer to put it on after a shower or a bath and just sit with it for a couple of hours before I go to bed and then I wake up with incredibly smooth legs. It’s fantastic stuff.

I have been using this on my dry hands. I use a lot of hand sanitiser in my job and this means that my hands do suffer a little bit. I have bee using this cream and it has made a difference. The tube is a good size and I can keep it in my cargo trousers while at work.
The cream lightly moisturises the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy sheen. I have found it works well and I would happily recommend it.

I’ve applied this cream (well, it looks like cream but it’s actually a white gel) a few times today. I have dry skin around my ears and hairline, as well as other places, due to having psoriasis. This gel spies really easily, works into the skin and does feel like it’s applying a protective barrier. It’s non-greasy and leaves the skin surface feeling moisturised, but not oily or shiny as some creams and lotions can do.
I’m quite pleased with this after only a days use. It feels like it has the potential to be a really good gel.
I’ll update my review in a few weeks after continuous use. As it is, however, my initial views are positive and I can see this being a gel that I’ll be ordering again if it keeps working.
