Ingredients

Our Emollient Cream can be used on both the face and body. Apply to the skin as often as required, smoothing gently in the direction of hair growth.

I’ve applied this cream (well, it looks like cream but it’s actually a white gel) a few times today. I have dry skin around my ears and hairline, as well as other places, due to having psoriasis. This gel spies really easily, works into the skin and does feel like it’s applying a protective barrier. It’s non-greasy and leaves the skin surface feeling moisturised, but not oily or shiny as some creams and lotions can do.
I’m quite pleased with this after only a days use. It feels like it has the potential to be a really good gel.
I’ll update my review in a few weeks after continuous use. As it is, however, my initial views are positive and I can see this being a gel that I’ll be ordering again if it keeps working.
For £5.99, you get a good 100ml. I may order the bigger one if it keeps working for me.

I’ve been using it on my son who has bad eczema triggered by the cold weather and this emollient gel has helped a lot on recovering his very sore dry hands and wrists and he has tried a lot of different creams and ointment but this one seems to work the best.

It is very gentle on sensitive skin. It is not too heavy as a cream.
The cream can be applied all over the body, I use this more as a face moisturiser.

It’s hard to find good emollient creams but this one is a super nice one, easy to apply and without scent which is always a great start! The 12 year old has really bad eczema that gets worse during the winter months but this easy to use cream has really helped her especially when she used it exclusively and regularly.

I’ve mainly used this for body and hands, and it’s helped relieve my eczema condition. It also helps the skin soften and moisturise, which is good. I have very dry skin, so the effects of moisturisers is very noticeable, and this is on the good side. I’ve not used it on my face though, as generic emollients aren’t really suited for that, but on my body and hands, this has done well.
It’s an unscented cream, so that is really good for me, since I don’t like moisturisers with a fragrant, and it’s not to everyone’s liking. Unscented is a big upside for me.
The cream is quite thick though, so it takes a bit of time to apply properly for the skin to absorb, which isn’t particularly fast either. This isn’t a big issue, but it’s considerably more time consuming by comparison.
The biggest downside for me is probably the price. £5.99 for 100ml is quite expensive, considering there are other products of similar quality that is cheaper and faster to absorb. For hands, I’ve used Neutrogena, and for both body and hands, I’ve used Aveeno, and products from both brands have done quite well for me as well, but a lot cheaper, so while this was quite effective, the price is on the expensive side, so it’s hard to recommend at the current price.

This body cream/lotion has worked very well on my dry skin and has really helped me with my eczema. It came in a nice bottle that was easy to push out the product and nothing leaked or spilt in transit. I have not had any irritations from using this cream and it has helped to moisturise and nourish my skin. I’m very happy with this product and I will be using more in the future.

A average heavy cream in a tube, on application it is thick and takes some time for it to blend with your body and prevent white residue. This is an excellent moisturizing cream for those who have severely dry skin like eczema and want a cream treatment to help their skin feel soft and not itching.

I have super dry hands, and hubs has cracked dry hands which are mechanic outdoorsy hands. We’ve tried every hand cream and emollient available and he doesn’t like the way they leave a greasy feel to the touch.
First application and this sunk in leaving his hands softer and he could still grab things easily without the slipping through his fingers complaint.
I will admit I put some on my cheeks and nose today, hail stones, strong northerly wind, and bitter wind chill I wanted to protect the exposed areas. When I got back my face did not feel sore….a first for me, because normally my face is stinging and red.
For me personally, this is impressive !

The Skin RepairX Emollient Cream is fantastic – it soothes and moisturises my dry skin overnight.
The white cream feels thick and rich but it’s easy to rub in and doesn’t feel greasy. It’s great on my hands as my skin tends to dry as the temperature drops and they feel soft, smooth and hydrated after using this cream.
It’s well worth £5.99 for the 100ml tube, and now that I’ve tried it I would definitely consider buying it in the larger sized bottle. Recommended.

This brand has two different creams, this “cream” plus another labelled as “gel” which seems a misnomer, it’s a thinner cream with different ingredients. I find that both do a very good job of softening and soothing the dry itchy patches of skin on my hands. I prefer this cream though – although the “gel” is easier to spread around (and so may be better if applying to larger areas) it leaves my palms quite greasy and I need to give them a good wipe with a cloth afterwards – no such problem with this cream.

This is as good as my tried-and-trusted Aveeno, but at around half the price. It’s also handbag sized, and therefore convenient.
It’s a thick and slightly greasy moisturiser that’s getting rid of the chapped skin that I have due to both the cold weather and a medical condition. With only 2 days’ use, I’m seeing and feeling the difference. It needs to be rubbed in well, to avoid staining clothes with grease, and a little goes a long way, making it economical. I can’t fault this in any way.

I liked the emollient cream. The cream is a bit thicker than what I usually use so it takes a bit longer to apply and soak in. A soothing effective cream
This cream has improved my skin across my chest and upper arms. It does not have a oily feel to it and does not leave any residue and skin feels soft and nourished after using. Great once you get used to it
I have been using SkinRepairX Emollient Cream as a facewash. It cleanses without lathering or foaming, which was a bit weird and hard to get used to, but it didn’t leave my skin tight or irritated, quite the opposite – it left my face feeling clean and calm. There was no strong smell and it felt gentle on the skin, leaving a light layer even after rinsing. I also used it as a moisturiser, and it felt as if it was working well. I would have preferred it to have absorbed better but it was fine once I got used to it. All in all I would recommend this product. Thick and hydrating
This product is very thick and takes a while to soak in. When I started testing it I had some abrasions on my skin and this helped to soothe them. It was also great on my dry elbows. I have tried lots of creams on my arm, which has had some dry sore patches for quite a time. This cream gas definitely made a huge difference already. It has not completely cleared the patches of dry skin yet, but it is much much better than it has been for a long time. I am hopeful that if I continue to use this cream, it won’t be long before they are gone. This is now my go to cresm for dry patches. I have also started to try it on the soles of my feet, which are very dry and within a few days they are already looking better.

Ok.. but a bit more ‘oily’ than expected
Gentle and effective, but a bit oilier than I expected. I liked quite a few things about SkinRepairX Emollient Cream. It’s a proper hydrator that forms a protective barrier on the skin, so flaky or sensitive areas felt much calmer and more moisturised after a few uses. It’s fairly versatile too — you can use it as a daily moisturiser or as tried, a soap substitute in the shower to clean and moisturise at the same time. That said, it felt noticeably oilier on my skin than I expected. The cream leaves a slick finish for a while, which is great if you need heavy moisturisation overnight or on very dry patches, but it felt too greasy for daytime use under clothing. As advised though, be VERY careful using it in the shower — it DID make the shower base slippery, and the label’s warning about not rubbing too hard is worth following. I suffer from mild folliculitis, although it definitely did NOT make it worse, it didn’t (unfortunately), make it any better.

Absorbs easily
I have been using skinrepairx for 2 weeks. I get eczema and psoriasis on my feet, particularly around the ankle. For the 2 weeks, I did not use any other product on this area. I find that this emolient absorbs much better than the one I normally use and the consistency is much more pleasant, non-greasy. It is somewhat more effective on eczema which cleared up and I found I used it more often as it is pleasant to use. On the psoriasis plaque, it was less effective but did alleviate the itchiness which is more than the emolient I normally use. Overall, it is a good product and, given that it is a similar price to it’s main competitor, i would buy it again as it is overall more effective. Although, you can’t expect miracles, it isn’t a substitute for when you need a prescription cream.

I have been using it as my everyday moisturiser to smooth my skin but also for any stubborn dry skin patches to soothe and provide a barrier. It has a light, clean scent that isn’t overpowering. Overall I would highly recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive or dry skin!

Deep moisturiser
This moisturiser definitely hydrates and soothes dry skin. I have very dry skin on my legs, and using this cream daily made my skin more hydrated and comfortable. My skin also feels smoother and softer. However, I found that I needed to use quite a lot of it, I almost used up the whole tube in just 2 weeks, so it is not very economical. I would definitely recommend buying it in a larger pack size.

Love it, effective, rich, light
I really love this product. It feels just like a regular moisturiser. Very easy to apply rich but at the same time it’s light and quickly absorbed without any oily residue or stickiness. I tried it on dry skin and on a sweat rash. It worked equally as well as my usual (market leader) skin healing cream BUT was more less messy and much more comfortable to use with the same results. Highly recommend recommended, this is now my go-to skin repair cream.

Skin feels fresh
I was dubious about this moisturiser as I’ve not found anything that works as well as my usual Nivea product but WOW I am very happy with the results. I started using this moisturiser on my face but quickly found it works as a soap substitute too. My face, hands, arms and even my feet look and feel fresh & hydrated. I’m so happy with the results that I’m more than happy to swith to this from my previous product. The one thing I’d like to see is the smell not that it’s not nice already but to have more of a manly scent would make it even better. Used this product in the shower. Thick, smooth cream which left my skin feeling smooth and soft. Although, it doesn’t lather so needed to use a lot of the cream each time so the bottle didn’t last very long.

Soothe & Strengthen
I have been using the Emollient Cream on both my dry hands and cracked heels. The cream is a good thick consistency and absorbs well into the skin with no greasy residue. I did see an improvement on the areas I used it on but not as much as I was hoping for. Nevertheless I will carry on using it for a little longer.

Decent emollient
Overall its a decent emollient which absorbs well (but I have used other creams which absorbed much better). Quite a thick emollient compared to prior ones I’ve used in the past. I’ve been using for around 2 weeks so far on eczema prone skin and it has done a good job so far at keeping it at bay but I won’t say its been excellent as the slight flakiness in the skin still did arise as well as the itching (disclaimer: this was not due to the the cream but more a skin condition which is difficult to manage).
